The report said the senior officials of Samsung Electronics in Central Asia and Uzbekistan participated in the opening ceremony.

Samsung Electronics is working for long time and successfully in Uzbekistan, the report said. It added that the company’s products presented widely in Uzbekistan.

It was noted in the opening ceremony that the service center was opened in the center of Tashkent, Navoi Yarmarkasi. Samsung Electronics will directly assists the center in their work, the magazine said.

Samsung Electronics is one of the largest producers of telecommunication, digital and medica technologies. The company’s sales in 2006 made up US$63.4 billion and the net income comprised US$8.5 billion.

The report said Samsung Electronics assessed Uzbek electronics market. The assessment found out that the Uzbek market is perspectives with annual electronics consumption from US$250 million to US$400 million.
