SamAuto presents new cars at Made in Uzbekistan exhibition

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Tashkent is hosting the First International Export Fair “Made in Uzbekistan” on 27-30 November 2018. Samarkand Automobile Plant (SamAuto) prepared 6 units of equipment for demonstration at this exhibition: 2 buses and 4 trucks.

The main novelties presented by the plant at the exhibition was an updated line of trucks of the N and F series, which meet the environmental standards of Euro-3 and Euro-5.

The new N series at the exhibition is presented by a truck model ISUZU NPR75K with a body van, in terms of overall dimensions the new series is almost identical to the previous one, the gross vehicle weight is 7500 kg, the engine is installed diesel ISUZU, 155 hp, manual transmission. Also, this car is different non-standard color - metallic silver, which was painted in order to study the opinions of potential buyers regarding the color change for the cars of the updated series.

The F series is represented by an ISUZU FVR34Q car, the total weight of which is 17,000 kg, the engine is fitted with an ISUZU diesel engine with a capacity of 240 hp and a manual gearbox.

The main novelty presented by Samarkand Automobile Plant at the Made in Uzbekistan exhibition is the ISUZU CYZ dump truck. The line of heavy-duty dump trucks was already produced by the plant in 2008–2009, the decision to return the series to production was made due to the numerous positive reviews received from the buyers of dump trucks. The car of the updated series C has a diesel engine ISUZU with a capacity of 390 hp, manual transmission, its gross weight is 33,000 kg.

The company also presented a city low-floor bus SAZ LE60. A month ago the delivery of buses of this model to Tashkent was started and their operation started on the routes of the city.

The second city bus presented at the exhibition is the SAZ HC45 with a compressed natural gas (CNG) engine. Next year, the gas engine model bus is expected to gain popularity, especially in the regions of Uzbekistan.

Among the cars presented at the exhibition, there is also an ISUZU NPR 82 truck chassis with a compressed natural gas (CNG) engine. The acquaintance of the market with this model began in 2013 with the operation of new garbage trucks, then the line was expanded due to the production of trucks (vans, flatbed, dump trucks) and specialized (vacuum trucks).
