The project "Sharq Durdonalari" - "Pearls of East" will bring together artists and art lovers from all regions of Uzbekistan, as well as guests of Samarkand.

About 150 masters of folk Bakhshi, designers, chefs, jewelers, musicians from all over Uzbekistan will take part in the festival "Pearls of East", which will be held in 10-11-12 April in the heart of Samarkand, in the art center Suzane which is located at Tashkent street, nearby a madrasah Bibi Khanum.

At the fair of handicrafts will bring together masters of applied art, artisans, representatives of various dynasties of ceramists, engravers, painters, embroiderers and many others. They bring in Samarkand thousands of hand-made items.

Pearls of East is aimed at supporting creative dynasties and talented craftsmen, providing the general public with the trends in the field of arts and preservation of the cultural heritage of Uzbekistan.

The project has developed a number of educational, cultural and entertainment programs. Performances by folk groups, presentation of traditional puppet theater will create a special atmosphere of a traditional “Eastern Bazaar”.

There will also be a series of master classes from dynastic masters. The first day evening will be the opening of the exhibition of paintings Samarkand artists, under the auspices of the Samarkand branch of the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan and studio-Art "Aysel".

To demonstrate the historical heritage of national traditions of Uzbekistan, the program includes traditional cockfights, as well as performances of folk groups from the national games, dances, songs.

On the evening of the third day, young Uzbek designers will present their works. Art studio- "Aysel" will present a collection of art in the style of clothes "Ethnic -Orient".

The project "Sharq Durdonalari" will be held annually in different regions of Uzbekistan. It is aimed at identifying the creative potential and support talented artists and dynasties in traditional and contemporary arts and crafts. Particular attention is given to the project, aimed at the development of applied arts, the revival of endangered species and traditional forms of arts in Uzbekistan.

"Sharq Durdonalari" attracts the attention of many people. Participants exchanging their experiences here, communicate, establish business and creative communication acquainted with the achievements of each other, have the opportunity to assess their work.
