Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — From 27 January to 4 February, the 5th National Championship of Professional Skills, Worldskills Uzbekistan 2025, will take place in Samarkand. The event aims to support and train talented youth across the country.

The championship is organized by the Samarkand Regional Department of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Innovation, which also serves as its general partner.

Worldskills Uzbekistan 2025 will act as a key platform for networking, bringing together aspiring and experienced professionals, employers, representatives of major companies, and educational institutions.

Participants will compete in various skill categories, including "Welding Technologies," "Electrical Installations," "Plumbing and Heating," and "Medical and Social Care." The "Welding Technologies" section is supported by ESAB, a global leader in welding and cutting equipment.

ESAB will provide fully equipped workstations for welders, featuring cutting-edge equipment such as the Rustler EM 350C PRO SYNERGIC and the Caddy Tig 2200i AC/DC.

For the first time, the event will include a Masters Championship, where seasoned professionals can showcase their skills, demonstrate their knowledge of modern technologies, exchange experiences, and discuss best practices and professional standards.

The awards ceremony for winners will take place on February 1, followed by the official closing ceremony of the championship on 4 February.
