Samarkand Bank receives net income for 1.253bn soums in 2011

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Net income of open joint stock commercial bank “Samarkand” in line with international financial reporting standards grew from 705.846 million soums in 2010 to 1.253 billion soums in 2011, the annual report of the bank, published in local media, said.

The assets of the bank grew from 28.836 billion soums in 2010 to 40.222 billion soums in 2011. The growth rate made up 1.39 times.

Liabilities of Samarkand Bank rose by 65.78% from 13.226 billion soums to 21.926 billion soums in the reporting period, according to audited balance.

The capital of the bank made up 18.296 billion soums in 2011 against 15.57 billion soums in 2010, the report said. The charter capital grew from 21.9 billion soums in 2010 to 24 billion soums in 2011.
