Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a decree on increasing wages, pensions, scholarships and allowances.

In line with the decree, from 1 August 2019, wages of employees of budgetary institutions and organizations, pensions, scholarships and benefits will increase by 1.1  times (10%).

From 1 August 2019, the minimum size have been established on the territory of Uzbekistan:

- wages - 223,000 soums per month;

- pensions by age - 436,150 soums per month;

- allowances for persons with disabilities from childhood in the amount of 436,150 soums per month;

- benefits for elderly and disabled citizens who do not have the necessary work experience in the amount of 267,650 soums per month.

According to the Decree, starting from 1 August 2019:

- the minimum size of disability pensions for persons with disabilities group II is increased from 50 percent to 75 percent of the minimum pension on the age;

-the size of the pension supplement to retirees - lonely persons with group II disability increases from 50 percent to 75 percent of the minimum wage;

-the size of the benefit on the occasion of loss of the breadwinner is established on the basis of the minimum amount of the pension on the age with the current percentage ratios for the number of disabled family members retained.

From 1 August 2019, monthly supplements are introduced to recipients of I disability benefits, including disability benefits I, from childhood over 16 years old, in the amount of 25 percent of the minimum wage.
