Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - A delegation of the Japanese organization for external technical assistance in the field of medical equipment OMETA, headed by its chairman Mr. K. Matsumoto, paid a working visit to the Republic of Uzbekistan on 11-14 October 2019. He is also the chairman of the Japanese company Sakura Global Holding Co., Ltd., a manufacturer of medical equipment.

During the visit of the Japanese delegation, a number of meetings were held with the heads of ministries, departments and other organizations, including the Uzeltehsanoat Association.

During the negotiations, the Parties noted positive dynamics in the joint development of the project on organizing the production of sterilizers for instruments and incubators for newborns, in particular, the previous visit of the Working Group of the Japanese company Sakura Global Holding Co., Ltd. to the Republic of Uzbekistan in September .g., as well as a meeting in Tokyo, Japan between the chairman of Sakura Global Holding Co., Ltd. Mr. K. Matsumoto and the chairman of the board of Uzeltehsanoat Association M. Yunusov.

In order to further develop the implementation of this project, during a meeting at the Uzeltehsanoat Association on 12 October, a potential local partner from among the enterprises included in the Association was introduced to the Japanese side. Following the negotiations, a Protocol of Intent was signed, indicating the further course of cooperation with the Japanese company.
