Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - Sam Antep Gilam (SAG) reported on the results of the first digitalization phase: for the first 6 months of using the SAP S / 4HANA platform, it was possible to increase the ratios of working capital and liquidity balances by 13% and 11%, respectively and also to reduce the free flow of finished products by 40%. The project advisor was Infopulse.
SAG today is a leading full-cycle carpet and carpet fabrication company in Central Asia and the CIS countries. Founded in 2000 and having gone a long way from a small weaving mill to an advanced enterprise, the company has achieved a steady double-digit level of sales growth over the past five years.
The SAP S / 4НANA platform combined both the company’s production and business processes (sales, purchases, inventory and risk management, finance and accounting, budgeting and quality control). Among the benefits derived from the implementation of the project are detailed analytics of marginality both at the product level and the client, more accurate costing, improved traceability of stocks, streamlining and standardization of processes, the ability to analyze costs to the level of equipment and vehicles.
“Advanced IT solutions are changing markets towards greater efficiency and companies need to actively use the latest technology to win the competition. I am sure that digitalization will help SAG to achieve our strategic goal - to become the absolute leader in the CIS countries and enter the top five of the world’s strongest manufacturers of high-quality carpets,” Muzaffar Khamdamov, Financial Controller and Project Manager for SAP implementation, SAG, said.
“The future is for end-to-end industrial systems and “smart production ”, which is impossible without advanced technologies. SAP S / 4HANA is a platform based on the revolutionary idea of moving to a data-driven enterprise. We know what tools can be useful for our customers in the formation of new business models and markets in order to move confidently towards an intelligent enterprise at the administrative and production levels, ”said Laziz Adhamov, managing director of SAP Uzbekistan.
