Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Board of Directors of the National Export-Import Insurance Company Uzbekinvest appointed the first deputy general director for pre-export and export insurance.

According to the decision of the Board of Directors, Rustam Khalikov was appointed to the post of first deputy general director for pre-export and export insurance of Uzbekinvest.

The position of first deputy general director was introduced into the company structure in accordance with Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated 24 May 2019 No. 4337 “On measures to expand financing mechanisms and insurance protection of export activities”.

The responsibilities of the first deputy general director include coordinating the company's activities in providing a range of insurance support services for exports.

Rustam Khalikov previously served as CEO of the insurance company Halk Sugurta.
