The Uzbek side expressed interest in establishing long-term economic contacts. They noted that cooperation in trade, agriculture and processing of agriculture products are priority directions.
The Uzbek delegation underlined fruits and vegetables, produced in Andijan, can be on demand in Novosibirsk region. These products can be supplied in fresh and tinned form.
Andijan representatives also proposed to open joint venture on processing fruit and vegetables, which would be equipped with modern technologies. They also stated that they are planning to open trade house in this Russian region.
The Uzbek representatives also expressed interest in establishing contacts with scientific-research institutes of Novosibirsk region.
Vasiliy Yurchenko said interregional cooperation is priority direction of development of economy of Novosibirsk region. He said the Russian side is ready to assist the Uzbek companies in organizational and financial form.
