Fundamental Library of the Uzbekistan Science Academy is one of the largest libraries in the country. It was founded in 1934 and currently it possesses over 3 million books. The library annually serves over 32,000 people.
Fund Russkiy Mir was created in 2007 and it is directed at popularizing Russian language and support programmes on teaching Russian languages in Russia and foreign states.
Russian World Cabinet will have over six hundred examples of fictions, reference books, scientific-methodical and specialized literature, as well as electronic manuals for over 200,000 Russian rubles.
Russian World Cabinets will be also opened at Russian Cultural Center in Chinaz (Tashkent region), Center of education and development Progress in Nukus (Karakalpakstan).
