The Cabinet of Ministers adopted a resolution, which approved quota for university in 2010/2011 academic year.
In line with the resolution, the university will accept 25 people to faculty “Geophysical methods of well study” and faculty “Drilling oil and gas wells” each.
Faculties “Development and exploitation of oil and gas fields” and “Economics and management of oil and gas enterprises” will also receive 25 people each.
Branch of the Russian State University of Oil and Gas named after Gubkin in Tashkent city was founded in line with the presidential resolution from 12 January 2007.
The main goal of the branch is to train high skilled specialists for oil and gas industry of Uzbekistan in line with Russian university’s curriculum and common international requirements.
