Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Russian Trade Representative in Uzbekistan Konstantin Zlygostev was on a working trip to Jizzakh region together with the Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan German Lerner.

During the trip, the trade representative visited a branch of Kazan Federal University. This is the first foreign branch of the university, opened in October 2022.

Today, 14 teachers from Russia work in it, and the number of students is 330 people.

The main place of the visit was the site of the technopark "Jizzakh", where the delegation visited the production of JSC "JIZZAX PLASTMASSA".

Members of the delegation got acquainted with the ongoing work on the territory of the technopark and production processes.

"Jizzakh", the opening of which is scheduled for April this year, will be the second Russian-Uzbek site, implemented on the experience of "Khimgrad".

The first technopark "Chirchik" was created in February 2022. More than 10 companies whose projects are estimated at more than US$30 million are its residents.
