Russian Today may launch media project in Uzbek language
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Russian Today will launch new media project, which will unite tens of websites in various languages.

According to RBK, the working name of the project is Sputnik and it will disseminate information in Russia and foreign states.

Sputnik will also have radio broadcasting unit, which will be based on radio company Golos Rossiya, which is a part of Russia Today.

A list of licensed mass media, run by Roskomnadzor, has record dated from 29 May 2014 on registration of agency and radio company under Sputnik name.

Russia Today is founder of both media outlets. The outlets will disseminate information in Russia and abroad. It will work on 45 languages of countries in Europe, Asia, CIS, North and South America, according data of Roskomnadzor. The lists also include Uzbek language.

The press service of Russia Today confirmed the information, but refused to reveal more details of the project.

According to reports, the presentation of the project will be held on 10 November for government officials, Russian and foreign companies.
