Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 9 September, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin arrived in Uzbekistan for a two-day official visit. Upon arrival at Tashkent Airport, he was greeted by Uzbekistan’s Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov and other officials.
Following his arrival, Mishustin visited the "New Uzbekistan" Park, where he laid flowers at the "Ode to Resilience" monument and toured the Glory Museum’s exhibits, accompanied by Abdulla Aripov.
During the visit, a meeting of the Joint Commission at the level of the heads of government of Uzbekistan and Russia is planned, where pressing issues of bilateral cooperation in trade, economics, investment, and culture will be discussed.
Special attention will be given to advancing major projects in industries such as manufacturing, energy, transportation, agriculture, and other areas of mutual interest.
As part of the visit, the signing of several intergovernmental and interdepartmental documents is expected, along with the adoption of a Joint Communiqué.
Additionally, Mikhail Mishustin will explore various industrial and production enterprises in Tashkent and visit several other sites.
