The Center was created on the initiative of the Representative office of Rossotrudnichestva in Uzbekistan.

Rossotrudnichestva provided modern multimedia equipment and satellite with subscription to the Russian channels, as well as mini-library.

The Center will train students and help to improve skills of Russian language and literature teaches. In future, it is planned to promote joint educational programmes of the Uzbek and Russian universities on the base of the center.

Activities of the Center will help to develop cooperation between universities of Uzbekistan and Russia.
