Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – Russian President Vladimir Putin said that on Saturday, together with Shavkat Mirziyoyev, he will take part in the ceremony of launching gas supplies to Uzbekistan through Kazakhstan.

“In record time, Uzbekistan, Russia, and Kazakhstan worked and created conditions for such supplies. Our gas will be supplied to Uzbekistan in transit through Kazakhstan, and part of the fuel will also be supplied to Kazakhstan,” the Russian President said.

He added that this important and mutually beneficial project will help ensure the energy security of both Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan.
