Russian FM calls to solve water-energy problems in CA

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov called to solve water-energy problems in Central Asia on commonly accepted bases without violating ecologic balance, ITAR-TASS reported.

He said Russia is interested that the sides will find solution, which will be acceptable for all. But he said that the decision should not violate ecological balance in the region.

Lavrov expected his regret that the Central Asian countries did not finish work on development of general concept on use of water resources in the region.
