Russian firm receives order to supply drilling pipes to Uzbekistan
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Perm Oil Machine Engineering Company (POMEC, Russia) will supply pipes for uranium mining to Uzbekistan.

As earlier reported, POMEC supplied experimental party of thick-walled and leading drilling pipes for mining of uranium to Navoi Mining and Metallurgy Combine (NGMK). The pipes were successfully tested.

On the result of tests, NGMK decided to purchase 100 more thick-walled and leading drilling pipes for mining of uranium.

Construction of weighted drilling pipes was specially developed for NGMK. The difference of the pipe is square section. Pipes, produced by POMEC, are used with the pipes of Orenburg Drilling Equipment Plant.

Director of POMEC Vladimir Jarennikov underlined that the production of squire drilling pipeline for uranium mining allows the enterprise to enter new markets.

Perm Oil Machine Engineering Company has been producing goods for oil mining, chemical, nuclear and aviation industry since 1993. One of the main directions of production today is equipment for drilling oil wells and oil mining. Among main customers are Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Azerbaijan, Lithuania and Bulgaria.
