Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A batch of day-old chickens bred at a facility in the Etkulsky District of Chelyabinsk Oblast has been sent to Uzbekistan.

A total of 33,440 chickens were dispatched to the village of Ilonsay the Samarkand region for further rearing.

Inspectors from the Rosselkhoznadzor conducted a veterinary and sanitary inspection of the chickens, checked the accompanying documentation, and verified the transportation conditions.

At the Balandino Airport border checkpoint, Rosselkhoznadzor inspectors granted permission for further transportation, ensuring compliance with the veterinary and sanitary requirements of the Eurasian Economic Union and the importing country.

The agency also certified the veterinary certificate, with which the cargo proceeded to its destination.

Earlier, in March of this year, the first batch of 16,000 Chelyabinsk chickens was sent to Uzbekistan.
