Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Russia negotiates with partners on the supply of gas to Uzbekistan through Kazakhstan. Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov announced this. 

According to him, Uzbekistan has a shortage of natural gas.

“We are agreeing, there were a number of contacts between the presidents of Russia, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan to use the transit system of Kazakhstan to meet the needs of Uzbekistan. This will require technical work on the ground, it is feasible, and it will not take a long time,” said Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.
