Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Russia is ready to increase trade, economic, project and investment cooperation with its closest neighbors, one of which is Uzbekistan.

At the end of last year, Russia became the main trading partner of Uzbekistan with a share of about 18%. To maintain the positive trend, the countries will launch new joint projects, including in the areas of:

engineering,

pharmaceuticals,

transport infrastructure,

agriculture.

“The expansion of logistics schemes, the formation and improvement of transit transport corridors will make a significant contribution to the modernization of economic sectors and increase the competitiveness of business,” the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation emphasized.
