Ruslan Nurudinov cannot defend his World Champion title
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
Member of Uzbekistan weightlifting team Ruslan Nurudinov could not defend his World Champion title in the weight category of 105 kg.
Ruslan Nurudinov claimed the second place in the World Championship in Almaty, Kazakhstan. He lifted 432 kg: 193 kg in snatch and 239 kg in clean and jerk.
Ilya Ilin from Kazakhstan also lifted 432 kg, but won the World Championship title due to lesser own weight.
Ruslan Nurudinov said he is happy to win silver medal as he was injured. He said that he did not lift 215 kg during trainings, but here he lifted 239 kg.
