Roundtable held with delegation from the Bengal Chamber of Entrepreneurs of India
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 7 April, a roundtable was held at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan with the participation of business representatives from Uzbekistan and India.
The event was attended by Deputy Chairman of the Chamber Dilshod Rasulov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan to India Sardor Rustamboev, Chairman of the Bengal Chamber of Entrepreneurs Avishek Aiddi, as well as entrepreneurs working in the fields of education, pharmaceuticals, sports, construction, and other industries.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the strengthening of bilateral cooperation, the opening of educational institutions in Tashkent, the implementation of joint construction projects, and the organization of exports of natural juices from India.
In addition, representatives of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry delivered a special presentation on Uzbekistan’s investment climate and the Chamber’s activities, which sparked great interest among the Bengal delegation.
Particular attention was paid to the development of cooperation in the field of exhibitions and trade fairs. Both sides expressed interest in the active participation of companies from the two countries in sector-specific events held in Uzbekistan and India.
The meeting marked an important step toward expanding trade and economic ties between Uzbekistan and India and laid the foundation for new promising projects.
