Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Russian state holding Rosgeologiya will conduct a seismic survey of the Aral Sea. This was announced by the general director of the company Sergey Gorkov.

The Vedomosti publication reports that at the end of March 2023, Rosgeo signed a contract for seismic exploration in the Aral Sea in Uzbekistan for 1.6 billion rubles (US$20.6 million).

Sergei Grishunin, Managing Director of the NRA rating service, believes that the contract with Uzbekistan will become the flagship in the foreign activities of Rosgeologiya in 2023.
