Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Rosgeologia holding has discovered oil and gas reservoirs in Uzbekistan following the results of geological exploration. This was reported to TASS by the head of the holding Sergey Gorkov.

According to him, in 2023 the holding will continue to study them.

“We found oil and gas reservoirs. Next year we will continue a detailed study,” said Sergey Gorkov.

“There is a deposit, but we will understand what sizes and so on after the stage next year,” he added.

According to him, the current stage of exploration in Uzbekistan will be completed in 2023. In addition, the holding is negotiating the continuation of work in April - October next year.

“As for Uzbekistan, no one in the Aral Sea did geological exploration there in the Soviet period. We made them. And the main thing is that there is a result that is quite successful,” he concluded.
