Romanian Film "Good Guys Go to Heaven" premieres in Tashkent
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 25 March 2025, the screening of the Romanian film "Good Guys Go to Heaven" took place at the Palace of National Cinematic Arts of Uzbekistan named after Alisher Navoi.
The event was organized by the Embassy of Romania in the Republic of Uzbekistan in partnership with the French Alliance and the Embassy of France in Tashkent, with the support of the Uzbek Cinematography Agency, as part of the Francophonie Festival in Tashkent (on 17-28 March 2025).
"Good Guys Go to Heaven" is a captivating story that showcases the talent and creativity of contemporary Romanian cinema. The film was directed and written by Radu Potcoavă. The premiere was attended by cultural figures, film enthusiasts, representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited in Uzbekistan, journalists, youth, and students.
In his speech, Daniel Cristian Ciobanu, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Romania to the Republic of Uzbekistan, emphasized that the screening of "Good Guys Go to Heaven" is an important cultural event. He noted that Romania sees great potential for cooperation with Uzbekistan. The diplomat expressed his gratitude for the support in organizing this remarkable event.
