Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Cabinet of Ministers Resolution from 4 July  2024 “On Approval of the List of Public Roads of the Republic of Uzbekistan” was adopted.

As part of the implementation of the "Roadmap" for further improvement of the road management system, approved by Presidential Resolution No. PP-330 of 10 October 2023, taking into account changes in the territories of cities and other settlements, it has been decided to review and approve the List of Public Roads of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The following lists of automobile roads of the Republic of Uzbekistan have been approved by the document:

- International significance (11 items with a total length of 3,833 km);
- National significance (240 items with a total length of 14,316 km);
- Local significance (1,818 items with a total length of 24,222 km).

These lists will come into force on 1 January 2025.

The Ministry of Transport has been instructed to approve the list of bridge structures located on public roads within one month.
