Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Russian Navigation Technologies OAO (RNT), one of the leaders of the motor vehicle tracking and control systems, announced about start of a project on introduction of the GLONASS/GPS tracking and control system, marketed under the AutoTracker brand, at Ahangarancement OJSC, largest cement producer of Uzbekistan and part of international holding on production of construction materials Eurocement Group.

The project has been launched with participation of Fleet Management Service, RNT dealer in Uzbekistan. Fleet Management Service will introduce system and provide technical services to projects.

Ahangarancement OJSC started to introduce transport monitoring system to raise efficiency of use of expensive rock haulers and special equipment, used at mining and transporting raw materials.

The system will also help to prevent abuses related to stealing fuel and lubricants, upward distortion, low production discipline, etc. The company said it will use AT-Career solution, which was used in many mines in Russia and abroad.

AT-Career solution allowed to execute all requirements of customer, including high protection, reliable work of equipment in difficult weather conditions, etc.

The project was tested in pilot zone and after that Ahangarancement adopted decision to introduce system. In first phase, it planned to install log blocks and fuel meters at 34 vehicles. It is also planned to create dispatcher center, which will plan vehicles use, control execution of plans, prepare reports and other documents. In future it is planned to install monitoring system to other vehicles.
