Rivaldo said: “I want to contribute for development of football in Uzbekistan. I am satisfied with created conditions and I decided to stay in this wonderful country for several years.”

As earlier reported, Brazilian Rivaldo has renewed his contract with Uzbek champions Bunyodkor for three more years and he will star in the Central Asian club until 2011.

Rivaldo inked a one-year deal in August and since then has played in 15 matches for Bunyodkor, including the quarter-finals and semi-finals of the AFC Champions League, scoring nine goals.
