Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The President of Uzbekistan signed the Law “On Amendments to the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On the Radio Frequency Spectrum”.

In accordance with the changes, users of the radio frequency spectrum have the right to use the radio frequency spectrum assigned to them jointly with other users.

According to the document, the current ban on the transfer by users of the radio frequency spectrum of the right to use it to another person limits the possibilities for further effective development of this area.

The joint use of the radio frequency spectrum is carried out by concluding an agreement on the basis of the relevant permission of the radio frequency authority. This authorization is issued according to radio frequency bands.

Ministry of Digital Technologies;

Defense Department;

State Security Service.

Users of the radio frequency spectrum should take information security measures to ensure:

exclusion of unauthorized access to transmitted information, uncontrolled use and shutdown of communication systems, as well as their use for purposes that are detrimental to the individual, society and the state;

confidentiality, integrity and the possibility of using information (data) in the process of its (their) transmission;

invariability of the mode of functioning of the communication system in case of attempts of unauthorized or unintentional interference.
