Revenues of the Anti-Crisis Fund of Uzbekistan reaches 7.44 trillion soums

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - The Ministry of Finance has provided information on the income and expenses of the Anti-Crisis Fund, which was created under the department to combat coronavirus, Dunyo news agency reported.

So, as of 27 May, the income of the Anti-Crisis Fund made up 7.44 trillion soums. Of these, 7.32 trillion soums are soft loans from international financial institutions, 123.5 billion soums - funds allocated from the state budget. At the same time, 475 billion soums allocated to the fund from the state budget before attracting soft loans were restored.

573 billion soums were allocated from the fund to the Agency for Sanitary and Epidemiological Well-Being. Of these, 277 billion soums were transferred to regional centers: 250 billion was spent to cover the costs of quarantine institutions, salaries of employees, food, hygiene products, etc., 18 billion to disinfect public places, 9 billion to other control measures with an epidemic.

270 billion soums were allocated for the purchase of test systems, reagents and protective equipment. It took 11 billion soums to purchase special vehicles, and 3 billion soums to provide medicines to quarantined citizens.

12 billion soums made up additional payments to employees in quarantine centers and allowances for personnel involved in the fight against the pandemic. Including 0.4 billion soums received by the Ministry of Health for a daily 6% payment to health workers.

286 billion soums were allocated for the construction of specialized hospitals for 10 thousand places, 182 billion soums for quarantine complexes for 20 thousand places, and 10 billion soums for the reconstruction of diagnostic complexes. 9 billion soums were sent to medicines, supplies and disinfection works. In total, expenses in this sector made up 487 billion soums.

Social spending made up 294 billion soums. About 60 billion soums allocated to the Council of the Federation of Trade Unions to support women in low-income families, 100 billion soums allocated to the Public Works Fund to attract the unemployed to temporary work, 50 billion soums allocated to the State Employment Promotion Fund for unemployed and families in need of social assistance to improve household plots. Social benefits made up 70 billion soums.

In addition, 11 billion soums were allocated for salaries to employees of the Toshkent Metropolitan and Toshshahartranskhizmat, 2 billion soums to cover the transportation costs of Uzavtotransservis and Toshshahartranskhizmat, 1 billion soums to the Ministry of Defense for the costs of accompanying and transporting humanitarian aid.

The cost of supporting sectors of the economy made up 1.4 trillion soums. Of these, subsidies for 500 billion soums were received by enterprises of the company Thermal Power Stations, 401 billion soums by the company Uzbekneftegaz. A loan in the amount of 101 billion soums was provided to Uzbekistan Airports, in the amount of 406 billion to Uzbekistan Airways, in the amount of 40 billions - to cover the primary costs of the First Rubber Plant.

504 billion soums were allocated for water supply and irrigation activities. Of these, 246 billion soums were allocated for the construction and reconstruction of irrigation facilities, 57 billion - for the construction of the Inshoot facility in Zafarabad district of the Jizzakh region, 14 billion were transferred to the Ministry of Water Resources for irrigation activities in the Jizzakh region.

61 billion soums accounted for the loan "Hoody Suv Tamaminoti", 53 billion soums - Goskomekologii. 39 billion soums allocated to the Ministry of Housing and Public Utilities for water supply and sewage systems, 10 billion soums for the Aral Sea Rescue Fund for irrigation activities.

Water supply of quarantine complexes for 20 thousand places left 18 billion soums, specialized hospitals for 10 thousand places - 8 billion soums.
