Revenue of Vimpelcom in Uzbekistan reaches US$209.5m in 2010
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 29 March 2011, Vimpelcom Ltd, one of leading telecommunication service operators (operating under Beeline trademark), announced its financial and operations results for the fourth quarter and full year of 2010.

Net operation revenue of the company in Uzbekistan made up US$59 million in the fourth quarter of 2010, or increased by 17.5% year-on-year (from US$50.2 million). The growth of the revenue in mobile communication segment made up 9.7% compared to previous quarter (US$56.4 million against US$51.4 million in 3Q 2010).

Adjusted OIBDA in Uzbekistan decreased by 3.2% compared to the third quarter from US$21.9 million to US$21.2 million. Adjusted OIBDA margin slipped by 4.8% in the quarter.

Number of Beeline subscribers in Uzbekistan made up 4.822 million at the end of 2010. The growth of subscribers’ base reached 1.3 million or 37.2%.

ARPU (Monthly Average Revenue per User) decreased by 2.4% year-on-year to US$4 in the fourth quarter of 2010. MOU (Monthly Average Minutes of Use per User) made up 402.9 minutes in the fourth quarter (+3.9%) against 387.7 minutes in the third quarter of 2010.
