The growth rate of retail trade turnover was observed in all regions of Uzbekistan. Surkhandarya region led on the growth of retail trade turnover (19.6%).

The State Statistics Committee said that the significant growth of retail trade turnover was also recorded in Tashkent region (16.9%) and Namangan region (16.7%).

At the same time, Tashkent city (1.5%) and Bukhara region (9%) posted the smallest growth of retail trade turnover in the reporting period.

In monetary terms, Tashkent city (404.4 billion soums), Tashkent region (192.2 billion soums) and Ferghana region (149.6 billion soums) made up top three on the volume of retail trade turnover.

The volume volume of retail trade turnover was registered in Syrdarya region (33.2 billion soums) and Jizzakh region (51.6 billion soums), as well as Karakalpakstan Reublic (57.5 billion soums).
