Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - The first day of the Tashkent Grand Slam tournament has ended. As expected, according to the results of the first day of the competition, the Japanese national team is in the lead.
Representatives of the country of the "rising sun" Ryuzu Nagayama (-60 kg), Uta Abe (-52 kg) and Momo Tamaoki (-57 kg) showed their superiority, having won bright victories. Also, Natsumi Tsunoda (-48 kg) lost to Uranceg Munhbat from Mongolia in the final.
With one gold and two bronzes, Mongolia comes second in the overall team event. The top three are completed by Korea, and the national team of Uzbekistan is in seventh place with two bronzes.
