Results of children ecological painting contest summed up in Tashkent
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
A solemn ceremony of awarding of the participants of the children ecologic painting contest “Ecology of native town” was held in Tashkent on 17 December, the press service of the State Nature Protection Committee of Uzbekistan said.
The event was organized by the State Committee on nature protection and Ecologic publishing company Chinor ENK.
Children from all regions of Uzbekistan participated in the contest, which was held for the seventh time, with their paintings.
The contest’s goal is to attract attention of youth to ecologic problems. The contest was held in two age categories – children at the age from 5 to 10 and from 11 to 15.
Yusupova Holida won the contest at higher age group, while Kamila Ahmedova won in the small age group.
Abdulaziz Azimjonov won the second place at the age category from 11 to 15, while Nafisa Husnuddinova was third.
Angelina Andreeva and Odina Sobirova took the second and third places respectively at the age category from 5 to 10. OSCE Office in Tashkent awarded a camara to Valeriya Fomicheva.
