“Hall of Ambassadors”, accidentally found in 1965, is kept in the Afrasiab Museum. This masterpiece of Sogdian art has worldwide fame.

In 2014, Uzbekistan launched restoration of the fresco with the assistance of the United States, France, Switzerland, South Korea and the UNESCO office in Uzbekistan.

Specialists from France and restorers of the Institute of Archeological Research named after Y. Gulamov of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan conducted restoration works.

With the help of specialists from South Korea, a video about fresco “Hall of Ambassadors" and the city of Afrosiab, as they were in the 6th-7th centuries, was created on a scientific basis in 3D format. Now it is shown to tourists and authoritative delegations, who are visiting the museum.
