Responsible for the development of domestic tourism determined

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In accordance with the resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On additional measures to diversify domestic tourism services”, from 1 June 2022, those responsible for the development of domestic tourism within the framework of the “Uzbekiston buylab sayohat qil!” Program have been identified:

Agency for Youth Affairs, the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education and the Ministry of Public Education - on historical, educational, cultural and entertainment, extreme, ecological, ethnic and beach tourism for young people, especially students and students of educational institutions;

The Federation of Trade Unions of Uzbekistan and the Ministry for the Support of the Mahalla and the Older Generation - in business, extreme, ecological, agro-, ethno-, gastronomic types of tourism for labor collectives and mahalla communities;

State Committee for Family and Women, Agency for the Development of Medical and Social Services - for pilgrimage, educational, social, cultural and entertainment, ecological, ethnic types of tourism for women;

The Ministry for the Support of the Mahalla and the Older Generation and the Nuroniy Foundation - for pilgrimage, medical, health-improving types of tourism for veterans, the older generation and pensioners.

The Ministry of Tourism and Cultural Heritage, the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, the khokimiyats of the regions and the city of Tashkent have been appointed responsible for coordinating the development of domestic tourism within the framework of the “Uzbekiston buylab sayohat qil!” Program.

These responsible organizations, together with employers, annually, in their areas, ensure the approval of the travel schedule and the implementation of travel for employees across the republic.
