Reserves of coal, gas and food are being created in remote areas of Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A Government Resolution “On measures to ensure the preparation of economic sectors, social facilities and multi-apartment housing stock for sustainable work in the autumn-winter period of 2022/2023” was adopted.

According to the Resolution, in the autumn-winter period of 2022/2023, the following are being overhauled throughout the republic:

2967 apartment buildings;

299 gas distribution points;

1.815. 3 km drinking water networks;

2420 social facilities (including 13 schools, 74 hospitals and clinics, 7 universities, 47 cultural facilities, 11 sports facilities);

restoration and repair work will be carried out at 149 km of gas pipelines;

314,400 tons of liquefied gas will be delivered to 6,209 districts;

1,680,000 tons of coal products are being created (of which 518,000 tons of coal is supplied to social facilities);

in 443 remote and hard-to-reach villages (auls) reserves of coal, gas and food are being created.
