Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A Presidential Decree "On measures to introduce an effective system of dialogue with business entities and further strengthen their legal protection" was adopted.

According to the Decree, the single interactive portal “business.gov.uz” has been transformed into the information portal “Virtual Office of an Entrepreneur”.

Through the Portal there is a round-the-clock reception, resolution of requests from business entities and control over these processes.

From 1 August  2022:

requests are entered into the portal:

business entities;

Call-center service at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry;

The Commissioner for the Protection of the Rights of Entrepreneurs (the Commissioner);

assistants of khokims;

applications entered into the portal are automatically sent to the relevant authorized bodies for consideration and decision by the Authorized Person;

authorized bodies consider appeals and enter information about the results on the portal;

The Commissioner establishes digital control over the procedure and terms for consideration of applications entered into the portal, and also applies appropriate measures of influence on the facts of offenses.

The Commissioner annually, by 1 March, submits to the President an annual report on the state of compliance by state bodies with legislative acts to protect the rights and legitimate interests of business entities.

By 1 September 2022, the Ministry of Justice will submit to the Government a draft document providing for measures to simplify the requirements governing activities in the areas of public catering and retail trade, as well as to support business entities in these areas.
