Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers “On approval of the Regulations on licensing activities in the field of circulation of products intended for military purposes and the elimination and processing of released military-technical means” was adopted.

The regulation defines the procedure for obtaining licenses for activities in the field of:

development, production, repair and sale of weapons and ammunition, protective equipment, military equipment, spare parts, components and devices for them, if they are not used in other industries, as well as special materials and special equipment for their production;

liquidation (destruction, utilization, burial) and processing of released military-technical means.

According to the document:

the agency of the defense industry is determined as the licensing body;

to obtain a license, the applicant - a legal entity, must send the necessary package of documents to the Agency through the State Courier Service;

the term for consideration of applications is 20 days; the amount of the fee for consideration - 2 sizes of basic estimated value, for the issuance of a license - 5 sizes of basic estimated value;

in case of compliance with the established requirements, the commission under the Agency makes a decision on issuing the appropriate license;

the validity of the license is not limited.
