Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - Along with the reforms being carried out in our country, our bilateral relations with the People's Republic of China are dynamically developing and enriched with a new meaning, the press service of the Uzstandard Agency reports.

Based on these goals, on 30 November 2019, a meeting was held with the leadership of the Nanking Market Regulatory Administration (NJAMR) in Nanjing, China.

The meeting discussed issues of increasing efficiency in the field of conformity assessment, the development of interagency and innovative testing laboratories, the wider attraction of foreign investment in the sector and the removal of technical barriers to trade by evaluating domestic products in accordance with international standards.

Following the meeting, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the State Enterprise “Republican Center for Testing and Certification” under the agency and the Nanking Market Regulatory Administration within the framework of the project “One belt - One Road”.

The signed document envisages the legal basis for the development and implementation of joint projects in the field of metrology, conformity assessment, product testing, joint testing laboratories in accordance with international standards, the exchange of specialists and delegations, meetings, videoconferences, seminars and symposia.
