Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Uzbekistan Football Association implements a number of measures to establish partnerships with developed football federations in order to gain experience and its effective use in Uzbek football.

In particular, Sanat Sharipov, Advisor to the First Vice-President of UFA Umid Akhmatdjanov and representative of UFA in Europe Dilshod Ruzmetov visited the German Football Federation and met with representatives of German football.

Patrick Montgomery, Specialist in International Relations and Strategic Studies of the German Football Federation, spoke about the progress of German football. He also gave detailed information about the events held in the German football academies, about training young players and improving the skills of children’s football coaches.

During the meeting, agreements were reached on attracting German specialists to Uzbekistan, with the participation of which various seminars and trainings in youth football academies will be organized. They also discussed the issue of establishing close cooperation with the academies of clubs Bayern Munich and Eintracht, and organization of trainings for trainers in children’s football from Uzbekistan in Germany.

In addition, the possibility of holding friendly matches between teams of two countries among different age categories was considered. In May 2019, the Berlin U-18 team is expected to come to Uzbekistan to hold a number of friendly meetings in Uzbekistan.

Following the meeting, representatives of the German Football Federation were presented with souvenirs on behalf of the UFA.
