Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Representatives of the Russian automobile plant "UAZ" arrived at the chemical-industrial technopark "Chirchik" on 21 August  2023.

During the visit, the guests were introduced to the activities of the technopark, told about the opportunities for investors who have received the status of a resident. In turn, representatives of UAZ announced their intention to launch the assembly of cars in Uzbekistan and are considering the technopark for this.

Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant LLC is an automobile plant founded in 1941, specializing in the production of four—wheel-drive passenger cars and low-tonnage passenger and cargo vehicles of increased cross-country capability under the UAZ trademark. Since 2000, it has been part of the SOLLERS automobile concern.
