Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A UAE delegation headed by the Executive Chairman of the Government of the Emirate of Sharjah Fahim bin Sultan Al Qasimi arrived in Uzbekistan on a visit.

Representatives of the delegation got acquainted with a number of historical complexes of Bukhara, including the Miri Arab madrasah, the Kalon Minaret, and Lyabi-Khauz Square. A memorandum of understanding on cooperation between the city of Bukhara and the Emirate of Sharjah was also signed.

During the visit, representatives of the delegation will also visit a number of historical places in Samarkand and the International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage "Silk Road". In addition, they will take part in the opening ceremony of the exhibition of archaeological finds from the Emirate of Sharjah at the Art Residence at the university.
