Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Vice-President of the National Olympic Committee (NOC) of Uzbekistan Komil Ruziev, adviser to the NOC of Uzbekistan in Japan Mansur Bakhriddinov met in Tokyo with the Minister for the Olympic and Paralympic Games in Tokyo, a member of the Japanese Parliament Yoshitaka Sakurada, reports NOU of Uzbekistan.

After this meeting, representatives of the NOC of Uzbekistan visited Tokyo University of Physical Education, where they met with the president of the educational institution Kenichi Matsunami, who was very pleased with the visit of the delegation of Uzbekistan.

Matsunami noted that the Tokyo University of Physical Education is one of the forges of personnel for the preparation of Olympic champions.

During the dialogue, the parties discussed the possibility of training our athletes in team sports - basketball, volleyball and close cooperation with the university and its specialists.

Matsunami gladly expressed a desire to cooperate. The President stressed that he was particularly warm to Uzbekistan and was already our guest during the first direct flight between Osaka and Tashkent.
