Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Inter-MFA consultations on countering new challenges and threats were held in Bishkek, the press service of the CIS Executive Committee reported.

The consultations were attended by representatives of Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, the CIS Executive Committee and the Anti-Terrorist Center of the Commonwealth Member States.

During the meeting, special attention was paid to the discussion of issues of anti-terrorist and anti-drug cooperation, the fight against extremism, countering radicalization, money laundering and the financing of terrorism.

The participants in the consultations stated a firm commitment to the progressive development of cooperation to counter modern challenges and threats, including on international platforms.

The next consultations are planned to be held in Minsk in June 2024.
