Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - Representatives of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Turkey participated in the annual Charity Bazaar fair in Ankara. The national stand of Uzbekistan was widely presented at this event, Dunyo reports.

The guests who visited the national exhibition site of Uzbekistan were representatives of the diplomatic corps, the general public, the leadership of the Ankara municipality, as well as members of the Uzbek diaspora and journalists.

At the Uzbekstan booth, visitors got acquainted with a rich palette of folk applied and musical art, as well as samples of folk crafts.

During the exposition, the participants were also informed about the tourism potential of the republic and the ongoing reforms in Uzbekistan as part of the Action Strategy for the five priority areas of the country's development in 2017-2021.

According to the diplomatic mission, a charity event to raise funds in support of orphans in children's homes in Ankara was held as part of the fair.
