Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Diplomats of the Consulate General of Uzbekistan held a meeting with the manager of the department of the West Siberian representative office of the Otkritie Financial Corporation bank, Svetlana Shumatova, in Yekaterinburg, the Dunyo agency reports.

The meeting was also attended by representatives of the All-Russian public organization of small and medium-sized businesses "Support of Russia" from the Sverdlovsk branch.

Shumatova shared that the bank prepared and distributed a presentation on the investment and export potential of Uzbekistan through a special platform. A group of bank clients showed interest in the planned business mission to the city of Samarkand.

Representatives of Opora Russia expressed a desire to establish relations with the Uzbek side in the areas of agriculture, textiles, construction and tourism. The organization also expressed its readiness to organize a trip for entrepreneurs from Sverdlovsk region to Tashkent.

As part of upcoming business missions, it is planned to hold negotiations to strengthen interregional ties, increase the export of Uzbek products and implement joint projects.
