Representatives of the Ankara Chamber of Industry discuss joint projects with Uzbekistan
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 17 April, a meeting was held at the Ministry of Investments, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan with a delegation from the Ankara Chamber of Industry, led by Deputy Chairman Mete Çağlayan.
Established in 1964, the Ankara Chamber of Industry brings together more than 100 companies operating across 67 different sectors of the economy.
The meeting focused on organizational matters related to the upcoming 8th session of the Uzbekistan–Türkiye Joint Intergovernmental Commission and a business forum scheduled to take place this May in Tashkent.
The Turkish delegation was also presented with a range of promising investment projects in priority sectors such as agriculture, pharmaceuticals, metallurgy, leather and jewelry industries, as well as the production of construction materials and furniture.
Mete Çağlayan expressed readiness to assist in attracting potential investors to support the implementation of the proposed projects.
